chandrayaan 3

Chandrayaan-3 is a Moon mission of India, which is being done to fulfill the shortcoming of Chandrayaan-2. India had earlier launched Chandrayaan-2 in 2019, which did not make a successful landing on the Moon. Chandrayaan-2 lost contact with the moon at a height of a few meters. Because of which nothing could be found about Chandrayaan. And that mission had failed.

By which ISRO is once again preparing to send Chandrayaan-3 to the moon.

Launching Date of Chanderyaan-3 ?

Chandrayaan-3, (14 February 2023) was launched from SDSC SHAR Sri Harikota. LVMS rocket will be used to launch Chandrayaan-3.

mission chandrayaan

1. Seeing the Moon's position per safety or soft landing.

2. Display of rover moving on the moon.

3. Conducting scientific experiments in place.

How will Chandrayaan-3 reach the Moon?

Chandrayaan-3 will not go directly to the Moon after being launched from Earth. Because Chandrayaan-3's rocket does not have enough fuel to take it directly to the moon.

That's why the scientist of ISRO has used the technique in this way. In which the rover moves forward while orbiting the earth. As you can see in the picture given below.

Chanderyan 3 landing date

With this technique, the rover can be easily transported to the moon in less fuel. But by this process Chandrayaan-3 will take about 6 month  to reach the moon. Some such parts of Chandrayaan-3 which will land on the moon are shown below.
