Today in this article we will read from where does the bulldozer get so much power. That the bulldozer can easily lift the goods from any freight. So next we know from where does the bulldozer get so much power.  

Where does the bulldozer get so much power from? 



In bulldozer, its main part is hydraulic pump and hydraulic piston cylinder. 

The hydraulic pump connects to the engine, which compresses the hydraulic oil. Then that hydraulic oil pressure goes into the piston cylinder, and pushes the piston out. From which the bulldozer can also lift very heavy goods. 


After all, how can such a huge honor be lifted or big buildings be demolished by pressure? Do you know how he gets so much power? To understand this, one has to know about pressure with the help of the diagram given below. So next we first know what is pressure. 

What is pressure?

The normal force acting on a unit area of a surface is called pressure. Which we denote in bar.  

For example
You must have put air in your cycle or in the tires of your bike at some point of time. That's when we put air in the tyre. They put in too much quantity, due to which air pressure is created inside the tyre, which keeps the tire inflated. 
 

Similarly, pressure can also be created in a liquid. The only difference is that where we create air pressure, air compresses there. Meaning that more and more air starts getting compressed there. 


But the liquid is never pressed under liquid pressure. Due to which the output in liquid pressure starts melting at the same time. 


For Example 

If you 1 litre. Let's fill liquid in the tank and press it, so that we can fill more than 1 liter liquid in it, then will that liquid press, more than 1 liter liquid will come in its tank? Will not come 


But in air pressure, if you fill air in a 1 liter tank, then even after filling 1 liter of air, we can fill more air in it. Due to which the air will start pressing inside and due to excess of air pressure will be created inside. The more air we inhale, the more pressure will build up inside it. We write the pressure in any tank or in a particular place in bar or in PSI. Next we know in details what is bar or PSI? 

1(bar) pressure = 1 kg. force per cm Occurs in a square area.

1Psi = 1 pound force per square inch 

For example 

Wherever there will be 1 bar (bar) pressure, every 1 cm of that place. A force of 1 kg will apply to the square area. 

For example you can see in the image given below. 

The area of the first side mouth of a tube is 1 cm. is a square and the face of the other side is 4 cm. Is. Now if we make a pressure of 1 bar, then in its first side there will be a force of 1 bar = 1 kg and in the second side also per square cm. There is 1 kg force in the field. So the other side has an area of 4 cm square. That's why a total force of 4 kg will be available on the other side. 




(Note: According to pascal low, The pressure in any particular region remains the same whether one side is thick or the other thin.) 

Using this technique, we can lift a weight of 4 kg at the output by applying a force of 1 kg at the input. All JCB, bulldozers can also be used to lift heavy to heavy goods using this technique. 

Air pressure is not used in JCb. Because the air is compressed, due to which the air starts getting compressed as soon as the input is given and we do not get the output at the same time. 

The liquid never gets pressurized, due to which as soon as one side pressure is created, the other side gets the output. For this, hydraulic oil is used in all JCBs. 

I already told you that the pump creates pressure in the oil and then that pressure goes to the hydraulic cylinder and the force on the piston is applied and the piston rises upwards. 


Let me tell you that in all the hydraulic systems, the input diameter of one side is less than the diameter of the cylinder. Due to which more weight can be lifted with less force. 

On the one hand, all hydraulic machines have a limit on the maximum lifting weight. It depends on the pump installed in it, the diameter of the input pipe and the diameter of the piston cylinder and the maximum pressure that the pump installed in it can create. 

For example 
  • A JCB has a pump of 100 bar. 
  • The diameter of the input pipe is -1 cm square. 
  • Cylinder output diameter 10 cm have class . 

input force 100 bar × 1 cm*2.    = 100 kg force
output force 100bar × 10 cm*2  = 1000kg force


So in this way by applying a force of 100 kg from JCB we can get a force of 1000. This will be its maximum lifting limit.
